Franchisewire.com ran an article today about Franchise Recruiters founder Jerry Wilkerson, who has been in franchising for 32 years. The story touches on Jerry's start at the International Franchise Association (IFA) in Washington, D.C., serving as Chief Lobbyist, and Director of Public Affairs, and details his involvement in Franchise Recruiters. It's a great description of the kind of people franchising attracts, and the lifelong career development that is borne out of that entrepreneurial attitude. There's a quote from Jerry that is particularly inspiring:
"Franchising is a legacy that inspires others to dream, to learn, and to be more," Wilkerson said. "High achievements are never solo events. We reach our best mark in life with the help of others and their belief in us."
